Nevada Payday and Semimonthly Pay Requirements
Overview
Unless another provision applies, wages earned before the first of the month are due by 8 a.m. on the 15th, and wages earned before the 16th are due by 8 a.m. on the last day of the month. Employers may pay more frequently than semimonthly.
Exceptions
Certain employers whose principal place of business and payroll preparation are outside Nevada may designate fixed monthly paydays for specified executive, administrative, professional, outside-salesperson, or supervisor roles, subject to collective-bargaining limits.

- Keep copies of late or skipped paychecks.
- Ask for the posted notice of regular paydays and place of payment.
